NFT Market Volume

On Sunday, Opensea traded $133.67 million, another consistently strong day for the NFT space.

The Bored Ape ecosystem saw strong volume across its projects. Bored Ape Yacht Club saw a number of big sales and closed the day with 3,409 ETH in total volume. Mutant Ape Yacht Club also saw very strong numbers, with 4,719 ETH in sales, a decent jump up from Saturday's 2,846 ETH. This solid volume came as we are now in the final days leading up to Yuga lab's metaverse release which is on the 30th of April.

Creature World saw 2 consecutive days of rising volume after remaining flat for many months. The project had 93 sales yesterday totaling 69.34 ETH, this comes after months of trading volumes falling between 10 - 20 ETH per day. The increase in volume was a result of an announcement by the project on Twitter which teases that they have a lot of new work to release in the coming months.

EightBit Me, which we featured yesterday for its historical significance in the NFT space saw an even greater explosion in volume yesterday with 3,397 ETH in sales, only one week prior, trading volume was a measly 7 ETH. The latest influx of buyers came after Gary Vaynerchuk and Proof Collective decided to buy into the project.

NFT Floor Changes

Yuga lab's projects saw strong gains leading up to the metaverse launch later this week. Mutant Ape Yacht Club (40.99 ETH, +8.53%) broke 40 ETH for the first time, after a week of insane growth, just a week ago Mutant's were sitting below 20 ETH. Bored Ape Yacht Club (142.42 ETH, +3.96%) saw smaller gains but is still up massively over the past week.

The less mentioned Yuga project, Bored Ape Kennel Club (12.99 ETH, +9.16%) also received love, with the project now up 100% in the past week.

EightBit Me saw a strong pump yesterday after purchases were made by Gary Vee and Proof Collective, reaching highs of 2.1 ETH after having previously traded at 0.2 ETH a couple of days ago. The project has since cooled off in terms of price, with the floor sitting at 1.15 ETH.

📈 Crypto exchange Injective have announced that they have listed perpetual contracts based on Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs - allowing investors to speculate on the direction of the Bored Ape price. The floor price for a Bored Ape currently sits at 142.42 ETH (~$400k), and Injective states that it looks 'to make them more accessible to the average investor'.

🏏 An NFT platform focused on the sport of cricket, Rario, has announced the completion of its' Series A funding round - successfully raising $120 million. The funding round was led by Dream Captial. Rario looks to use the funds to expand its' user base into India - a country where cricket is extremely popular.
