NFT Market Volume

On Thursday, Opensea saw a slight increase in volume, closing the day with $115 million in sales.

Shinsekai, one of the projects we featured in yesterday's biggest drop section started strong, trading 3,768 ETH on its first day. The art is yet to be revealed but the project has already experienced huge trading volume, due to its popularity. The sale was supposedly oversubscribed, with hundreds of people who had spent weeks to achieve a whitelist spot in the project's Discord missing out on a chance to mint one.

Another project that minted yesterday, "MOAR" by Joan Cornella also saw huge volume on the secondary markets, closing the day at 3,111 ETH in sales. MOAR is building a digital mansion in the metaverse, and holders will have access to physical and virtual exhibitions hosted by Joan Cornella plus exclusive purchasing rights to her physical artwork.

Since both projects are currently unrevealed, we will be keeping our eye out for their reveal dates and expect a surge of trading activity around that time.

frankfrank, the meme project which exploded in popularity yesterday had 2,211 sales, totaling 1,682 ETH, not bad for a collection of only 2000 NFTs! Since the project was a fad and will not be providing ongoing benefits or a community to holders, we would recommend not buying any at this stage.

NFT Floor Changes

Shinsekai is currently sitting at a 0.58 ETH floor, this means that holders who minted yesterday for 0.15 ETH are already in great profits. Similarly, "MOAR" by Joan Cornella which minted at 0.5 ETH is currently trading with an average sale price of 2 ETH.

If both projects follow a similar trend to recent unrevealed projects, prices may be volatile leading up to their reveal, followed by a sell-off immediately after. We have seen others make great entries into projects that they believe in by purchasing during the post-reveal dump.

EthLizards (3.65 ETH, +46%) has witnessed a volatile few days. Ethlizards reached a high of 4.9 ETH earlier in the week before tumbling back down to 2.1 ETH yesterday. Support has since stepped in and the project now sits at 3.65 ETH, leaving those who bought yesterday in nice profits.

Most Blue-chips remained stationary yesterday. Bored Ape Yacht Club (110 ETH, -0.62%) barely moved, neither did Cryptopunks (66.66 ETH, 0%) or Doodles (15.99 ETH, -0.06%)
