NFT Market Volume

Sunday saw Opensea close at a respectable $136.4 million, which is down on Saturday's incredible spike in volume but still higher than many days over the past few months.

Moonbirds once again was the top traded project, with 1,502 sales totaling 23,714 ETH, which makes up nearly half of Openseas total daily volume. The top 3 largest sales over the past 24 hours were also all Moonbirds.

NFT Floor Changes

Moonbirds (19.8 ETH, +55.9%) similarly saw incredible gains over the past 24 hours. With the original mint price being 2.5 ETH, holders who minted on launch are already sitting on profits of $50k+. This came as yesterday, the project decided to offset its carbon footprint through a donation using the platform Aerial.

Proof Collective (99.99 ETH, +31.10%) which is the group that launched the Moonbirds project and gave its holders 2 free NFTs saw good gains over the past 24 hours. The project had witnessed a small sell-off yesterday initially after Moonbirds launch but has since been bought up by new investors hoping to be presented with new opportunities as a member of the group.

Milady Maker (1.17 ETH, -34.24%) had a rough 24 hours. Projects like this are built on capturing attention, however with the insane popularity of Moonbirds, attention and liquidity have been sucked out of these projects, the question now will be whether these sellers return at a later date.

🐕 Rapper and NFT Royalty, Snoop Dogg, launched a new project on the Cardano (ADA) blockchain. The project - Clay Nation - sold out all 10,000 of its' clay themed collection with a floor price of around 2600 ADA (~$2,600). The NFT doubles as a ticket to the 'Clay Nation' festival, hosted by the rapper.

🏎️ NFL Star Tom Brady's NFT platform, Autograph, expands its reach by inking a deal with American racing brand, Penske, by way of an NFT collection making its' debut at the Indy500 racing event on May 29th. The collection will feature a diverse mixture "collectibles around past and present races, drivers, Indy 500 tickets and archives".
