NFT Market Volume

On Tuesday, Opensea volume closed at $69.4 million, this is the 6th consecutive day of declining volume.

As expected when the market is in decline, volume for most blue chip projects wasn't anything to shout home about. Bored Ape Yacht Club closed yesterday at 1,751 ETH, a significant drawdown from this time last week when the project traded 5,295 ETH.

Volume on MURI by Haus also slowed significantly now that the art hype has passed, closing the day with 804 ETH in sales, down from 64.7% from Monday's 2281 ETH in sales.

Some projects did see upticks in volume. Boss Beauties traded 110 ETH in volume, which whilst small is a pretty big increase on Monday's 34 ETH in sales, with rumors which started in January of a Marvel partnership have resurfaced.

NFT Floor Changes

Despite the decrease in marketing trading activity, most large projects have been able to maintain strong floors, seeing very little in sales.Bored Ape Yacht Club (103 ETH, +1.99%) is still sitting strongly above 100 ETH. Similarly, Mutant Ape Yacht Club (21.85 ETH, +0.37%) has managed to sit comfortably above 20 ETH.

Azuki (12.36 ETH, -1.11%) only saw very small losses in the past 24 hours which signals that there isn't much intent to sell amongst holders, this is also the case with Cryptopunks (72.90 ETH, -0.12%) and World of Women NFT (13 ETH, -2.26%).

Ether Orcs (3.68ETH, +71.16%) had a great 24 hours, with rewards for LP staking their native token $ZUG going live on SushiSwap.

🐒 Bored Ape Yacht Club creator and Crypto Punks/Meebits owner, Yuga Labs, raises $450 million in seed funding round to build their NFT metaverse, otherside. This values Yuga labs at a whopping $4 billion. Only holders of Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs could participate in investing. Notable investors included Google, FTX, Samsung and Adidas.

👚 Luxury designer label Tommy Hilfiger is the latest high-end brand to announce its' participation in Decentraland's 'Metaverse Fashion Week'. They will be using the metaverse to showcase their Spring/Summer 2022 collection.

🖥️ Leading esports organisation, G2 Esports, filed a lawsuit suing blockchain technology company, Bondly, over an NFT project gone wrong. G2 allege that miscommunication and failed deliverables resulted in over $5m worth of damages.
