24hr Market Overview πŸ“ˆ

NFT Market Recap

Yesterday we saw Opensea trade $33.92 million in volume, a very similar day to Sunday which was the lowest trading day in 2022. Across the market, many projects saw small retracements although there weren't that many huge moves.

MURI by Haus, an anime project which had struggled during the dumping of last week found support yesterday, with the price pumping 27% up to 0.75 ETH. This came as MURI airdropped holders a land NFT for their metaverse expansion, alongside teasers of a manga in the works and a complete rebrand.

Personally, I'm very bullish on MURI and own one myself. The team is sometimes quite poor at communicating with the community in Discord. However, with the art and project's future plans, if the markets remain stable we could see further growth of the project.

Toxic Skulls Club (0.37 ETH, +70.41%) saw a big surge in activity yesterday, this came as news spread that Neymar Jr had purchased a Toxic skull. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case, he had just been sent one by the dev team. Nevertheless, the project saw a strong pump and so far hasn't retraced much of the move.

Another project which saw a nice pump was DuskBreakers (0.27 ETH, +52.29%). This came as more substantial news was released that the project's parent company had raised funding of $24M in a Series A Round, with funding from FTX and other notable players in the space.

Other movements which we've seen over the past 24 hours include:

  • Creepz Genesis | 1.6 ETH, +18.44%

  • Quirkies | 2.65 ETH, +10.42%

  • RTFKT-MNLTH | 6.69 ETH, +15.34%

  • Mutant Ape Yacht Club | 20.20 ETH, -3.34%

Overall, not too many significant movements today. Most of the larger blue-chip projects only saw very small movements as the market is starved of volume. However, it was nice to see some smaller projects witness big gains yesterday which we didn't see much of last week.
