NFT Market Volume

Opensea volume has seen a slight uptick in daily volume during the last 24h, closing at $74 million traded on the day.

The clear leader in volume for the day came with Crypto Punks, bringing in a mammoth 7,397.9 ETH trading volume for the period, lead by the huge news of Yuga Labs acquiring the Crypto Punk and Meebit collection from Larva Labs.

The above news lead to all related projects to see a large surge in volume and high profile purchases, for example Meebits, coming in close behind with 6,724.72 ETH traded. Yuga Labs' projects, Bored Ape Yacht Club and Mutant Ape Yacht Club also brought in 2,874.83 and 1,435.07 ETH respectively

NFT Floor Changes

As expected, the acquisition of Larva Labs' NFT projects lead to floor increases and frenzied buying in their respective collections, with Crypto Punks (75.45 ETH, +10.97%) and Meebits (5.49 ETH, +30.93%) both seeing sizeable jumps in floor prices.

The Crypto Punk derivative project, Punks Comic (0.184ETH, +68.81%) was a market leader in floor price for the day, with a large surge in floor price.

😱 An unlucky EtherRock fat-fingers a million dollar listing, pricing the NFT at 444 wei (>$0.01), rather than 444 ETH (~ $1,200,000).
