On Wednesday, Opensea traded $18.39 million in what was a fairly neutral day for the NFT space. Yesterday we saw Ethereum retrace slightly, dropping to $1050 before moving back up to $1100+ this morning.

Most of the big market cap blue-chip projects saw little movement, including the likes of:

• Bored Ape Yacht Club | 86.7 ETH, +3.21%

• CryptoPunks | 64.89 ETH, -0.17%

• Doodles | 14.99 ETH, +2,67%

• Azuki | 12.5 ETH, +0.81%

One notable sale yesterday was CryptoPunk 8531, a Zombie Punk which sold for 825 ETH, worth around $870k, we have seen a number of big punk sales over the past few weeks, as those with a high conviction for the project have begun to accumulate, believing that current prices are a good deal.

This could be seen as a somewhat solid discount, with Zombie Punks selling for upwards of $5 million dollars in the summer of last year.

Latest NFT News 📰

📈 eBay announced today that it’s acquiring Manchester-based NFT marketplace KnownOrigin. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. eBay says the companies have signed and closed the deal as of June 22nd.

💰 Gucci has acquired $25,000 worth of RARE tokens to join the SuperRareDAO. With its buy-in, Gucci is launching the “Vault Art Space,” an exhibition that will include a selection of NFT artworks by 29 artists.
