24hr Market Overview πŸ“ˆ

NFT Market Recap

On Tuesday Opensea traded $26.02 million, a slight decrease from Monday but still within the range that has formed over the past few weeks.

We Are All Going To Die was the most traded project on Ethereum over the past 24 hours, with 1,454 ETH in volume, the floor also increased slightly to 1.399 ETH, a 23% increase from yesterday.

Yesterday we saw the project and holders burn a number of the collection. The project has a burn mechanism that allows holders to sacrifice their NFTs. Furthermore, we saw Opensea delist the project, which was coincidentally timed with 200 NFTs being burnt.

Some speculated that this was a marketing move, with the project posting a cryptic tweet before the delisting. However, they have since been relisted on Opensea.

I was digging further into the project today and came across their official wiki page, which you can check out below. They're definitely taking an interesting approach with building such a solid and mysterious lore which feels refreshing although I'm not sure how long the hype can last in current market conditions.

Taking a look at the rest of the most traded projects over the past 24 hours, we see a lot of derivative projects and low-quality goblintown clones which we don't expect to have a long life cycle. This includes projects such as pablos.lol, troll-town.wtf, and begin as nothing.

The biggest project which launched yesterday was Just Ape, which currently sits at a 7.4 SOL floor. There was a lot of hate surrounding the project, which charged 5 SOL to initially mint and was mostly taken up by whitelist spots.

We are definitely seeing a slow down in momentum with Solana projects. Over the past few months, if you had a whitelist spot you were guaranteed solid profits, but with so many projects being churned out in such a short space of time, these profits are shrinking with every launch.
