On Thursday, Opensea traded $15.59 million whilst Magic Eden traded $8.17 million. It was a somewhat turbulent day, with ETH ranging from lows of just under $1000 to highs of $1110, an 11% swing.

With June now ended, it is interesting to look back and see the sheer amount of news and developments in the space, Travis_Kling posted this earlier today, which gives a good recap of the month's events.

In terms of monthly trading volume on Opensea, only $696 million was traded in June, down from $2.59 billion in May. Whilst the drop in trading volume was sharp, the drop in monthly active users was small and monthly NFTs sold remains similar to past months.

This data indicates that declining prices in both ETH and NFT floors was the biggest contributor to low volume, and whilst in general collections have certainly seen lower activity, there is still an abundance of active Opensea users.

Milady Maker (1.2 ETH, +50%) saw strong gains, this coincided with multiple wallets buying large amounts of Milady's - maybe there is something planned around the corner?

Latest NFT News 📰

🖥️ Meta, formerly known as Facebook, has begun rolling out NFTs for some U.S. creators on its flagship social network. Facebook is starting with Ethereum and Polygon NFTs but will soon add support for NFTs on Solana and Flow, a Meta representative told Decrypt via email. Read more here.

🚗 Chevrolet has failed to sell an NFT with artwork depicting the 2023 Corvette Z06 after nobody placed a bid at an auction earlier this month, reports CarScoops. The NFT artwork, named 'Own the Color,' was to be sold along with something actually tangible: a 2023 Corvette Z06 finished in a one-off color called Minted Green. Thus, the buyer would be said to 'own the color' which would never be used on another factory Corvette. Read more here.
