NFT Market Recap

Yesterday, Opensea saw a slight increase in volume, trading $43 million. Whilst this is a small increase in volume on the lows of the past week, most of this new volume went to newer projects.

One such project which launched yesterday was Chimpers which is currently sitting at a 2.85 ETH floor. Chimpers saw a solid first day of trading, with 4,862 ETH in volume, whilst this is a decent amount, it falls short of the volume which we have come to expect of new projects in recent months and signals that the market is really suffering from low liquidity.

Boki, which held its premint yesterday, costing 0.066 ETH currently sits at a 0.145 ETH floor with the art currently unrevealed. The project saw much lower levels of trading volume than Chimpers, which is to be expected of a project with a lower floor, closing yesterday with 2,762 sales totaling 346.214 ETH. So far those who minted have seen nice profits, however with the art still to be revealed, it's hard to tell how the price will behave over the next week or two.

Invisible Friends saw further losses yesterday, with the floor price now sitting at 4.05 ETH, down -10% from yesterday. Personally, I've always been a big fan of the project's artwork and collaborations. However, it's one of those projects which doesn't look particularly great as a profile picture. Invisible Friends also launched its collaboration with Kith called Kith Friends which currently sits at a 0.664 ETH floor, not great for such a big name!
