NFT Market Volume

Monday saw Opensea trade $164.41 million, a third consecutive day of strong volume spurred on by strong trading activity across numerous projects.

On Saturday & Sunday, Moonbirds stole all of the limelight by having trading volume that far surpassed anything else. However, Monday saw Murakami.Flowers Seed take the spotlight, with 2,189 sales totaling 12,008 ETH. The project worked on a public lottery system that was oversubscribed with 5 million entries, leading to the project's immense success on the secondary market. The art for the project has yet to be revealed and we expect some volatility leading up to this event.

In second place was Moonbirds, with 509 sales totaling 11,268 ETH. Whilst this was still a very strong day of sales for a project on its third day, we have begun to see volume cool off, down from the colossal 36,458 ETH in trading volume on launch day.

Elsewhere, other projects saw spikes in volume as liquidity re-entered the market following the Moonbirds mania. Mutant Ape Yacht Club saw a strong day of sales, trading 3,767 ETH, up from 977 ETH the day prior.

NFT Floor Changes

Murakami Flowers Seed (6.25 ETH, +14.68%) has so far seen a volatile 24 hours. Holders are still in good profits from the initial mint, however, those who bought on the secondary market in the range of 8-9 ETH yesterday will have seen small losses as the price dropped this morning. This came as many on Twitter complained of multiple users managing to mint hundreds of the collection by using bots to game the raffle system and then dumping them on the market, causing the price to decline temporarily.

Moonbirds (18 ETH, -9%) saw a small decline in price, which was to be expected after an enormous pump that left holders in big profits.

Elsewhere there has been a mixture of floor movements.

Mutant Ape Yacht Club (29.69 ETH, +12.04%) has seen good gains over the past 24 hours, this has come as many are expecting big news from the project's parent company, Yuga Labs, on their upcoming metaverse in the next few days.

Meebits (6.39 ETH, +39.22%) and CrypToadz (3.75 ETH, +41.51%) saw similar gains, this has been spurred by additional rumors that holders of certain projects will be granted whitelist to the upcoming Yuga Labs metaverse mint.

⛩️ The largest social media and messaging app in Japan, LINE, has launched its' own native NFT marketplace, aptly named LINE NFT. The messaging company says that it will offer 40,000 NFTs to over 90 million users all over Japan, with users being able to store their NFTs in the LINE BitMax Wallet. Despite strict regulations regarding crypto in Japan, this might signal a change in direction for NFTs.

🖥️ The FBI and US Treasury claim to have identified one of the culprits behind the Ronin Bridge Breach. Recently, they added an Ethereum wallet belonging to a North Korean hacker group to their official sanctions list, with many blockchain analysis platforms noting it as the ‘Ronin Bridge Exploiter’. Of the stolen 173,600 ETH and $25.5 million USD, an estimated 14% of it has been laundered.

❌ Ongoing Warning - A MetaMask vulnerability has been identified with iCloud in which iCloud backs up a copy of your keys/seed phrase. Disable iCloud backups for MetaMask here: Settings > Profile > iCloud > Manage Storage > Backups.

❌ NFTinit discord has been hacked.

❌ Habibiz discord has been hacked and a fake mint list was posted.
