NFT Market Volume

On Tuesday, Opensea closed the day with $133.12 million in trading volume, a 4th consecutive day of strong sales after a slow start to the month.

Moonbirds volume continued to cool off after a hectic weekend, with 297 sales on Tuesday totaling 6,034 ETH. This is down from 11,268 ETH in sales on Monday. Murakami.Flowers also saw cooling volume on its second day, with 2,759 ETH in sales, down from 12,008 ETH on Monday.

Bored Ape Yacht Club had a strong day with 30 sales totaling 3,769 ETH, the project's best selling day since March 20th. Similarly, Mutant Ape Yacht Club was subject to a second day of heightened trading activity, with 4,944 ETH in sales.

Both projects are owned by Yuga Labs, which announced its metaverse project "Otherside" in March with rumors that more news will be announced in the next few days. One such rumor is that BAYC and MAYC holders will receive airdrops for land which is one of the catalysts for the recent surge in trading activity.

NFT Floor Changes

With so much anticipation for Yuga's "Otherside", many projects have seen strong floor gains as communities on Twitter and Discord speculate which projects will be granted airdrops or whitelist access to Otherside's launch.

Mutant Ape Yacht Club (30.9 ETH, +4.08%) and Bored Ape Yacht Club (119.42 ETH, +6.63%) both saw solid gains. Both projects already maintain consistently high floor prices so a 4-6% movement is considered strong.

Cool Cats (8.3 ETH, +25.57%) saw impressive gains, as rumors that Cat holders will be granted access to Otherside's whitelist were circulated. Cool Cat holders have had a rough few months, with the project's Cool Pets release running into multiple issues causing the floor to fall from highs of 16 ETH.

Deadfellaz (2.1 ETH, +23.56%) a project that we often hear little about since its popularity last Autumn saw strong gains over the past 24 hours. This revival in attention came after a Coinbase Q&A with the project and an announcement that United Talent, one of the worlds leading talent agencies had signed an exclusive deal with Deadfellaz.

🛹 Skateboarding icon, Tony Hawk, has announced plans to auction off five of his iconic skateboards (that were used to land the tricks in his previous 'Last Trick Collection').  The 1-of-a-kind, signed physical assets will come with an NFT which features a 3D rendered replica of the board.

💰 Fashion giant LVMH, is releasing a set of gamified Louis Vuitton collection of NFTs to celebrate its' birthday celebrations through their mobile app - Louis: The Game. Players in the Louis Vuitton Metaverse will have the chance of winning one of the ten exclusive 1-of-1 Louis Vuitton NFTs in which they can dress up their Louis Vuitton avatar.
