On Wednesday, Opensea traded $16.99 million, up slightly from $15.8 million in sales on Tuesday. This came as US CPI data was revealed, revealing inflation had hit 9.1% which caused some turbulent price movement in Ethereum.

Following on from Gamestops NFT marketplace launch on Tuesday, the platform had surpassed $1 million in sales in just 24 hrs, and within 48 hours, Gamestops platform surpassed Coinbase NFT's lifetime volume. This highlights just how poorly Coinbase's NFT platform was launched.

On the other hand, a Reddit thread pointed out that even if the platform had raised over $200k, it was just a small dent in the $168m in losses that Gamestop witnessed in Q1.

🔥 An NFT collection called WZRDS has implemented a novel burn mechanism that allows NFT holders to vote to burn WZRDS NFTs listed below a certain price. All NFT holders have to do to keep their NFTs safe is to stake them or just hold them in their wallets. The floor price of the collection has risen from 0.1 ETH on July 8 to 3.2 ETH on July 12.
