On the 1st day of June, Opensea traded $39.31 million in volume, remaining pretty firmly inside the existing range. Meanwhile, problems over at Solana led to Magic Eden trading just $10.62 million.

You heard that right. Once again Solana went down, this time for 4 hours as the devs found a bug in the code and were forced to restart the network.

It's not a great look for the Layer 1 which is supposed to be decentralised but can be turned off or restarted by a small group of individuals. This meant that yesterday for 4 hours people couldn't trade SOL NFTs.

As ETH price retraced yesterday, we saw a mixture of NFT movements. goblintown.wtf once again continued to pump, now sitting at an 8.29 ETH floor which is another 93% gain in the past 24 hours. I honestly didn't expect the pump to last this long, it feels like how projects moved in the earlier days of NFTs.

Goblintown was also initially a free mint, meaning that anybody who minted and is still holding is sitting on huge profits.

CNET also released a piece on the collection yesterday!

Similar to Bored Ape Yacht Club yesterday, today we saw Mutant Ape Yacht Club (19.75 ETH, +10.03%) move up in price.

There is a lot of speculation currently on whether Yuga Labs has another announcement up its sleeve as we have seen a number of connected wallets making purchases. Furthermore, it has been a little while since we last had any big news. It's definitely one to keep an eye on!

We also saw some strong movements on Solana over the past 24 hrs including:

• Jikan Studios | 3.63 SOL, +16.67%

• Melt Labs | 8.33 SOL, +19.17%

• Ghostface Gen 2 | 3.15 SOL, +27.02%

• Aurory | 44 SOL, +4.67%

Despite the crypto markets generally not looking great. It was nice to see a lot of individual project movement over the past 24 hours, with goblintown being one of the main outliers.

Latest NFT News 📰

👮 US Prosecutors have charged a former employee of OpenSea with the first case of NFT insider trading. An indictment alleged that Nate Chastain, OpenSea’s former head of product and popular influencer by the handle @nate.eth, had bought up around 45 NFTs with the knowledge that they would be promoted on OpenSea's homepage in the future. Chastain is being charged with wire fraud and money laundering, each of which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.

🎤 According to CoinDesk, Kanye West could be preparing to mint his own NFTs, according to 17 new trademark applications filed involving his 'Yeezus' brand, for “blockchain-based non-fungible assets,” “currencies and tokens” and “online retail store services featuring … digital art”. It comes only months after Ye shared a post stating "STOP ASKING ME TO DO NFTS".
