24hr Market Overview 📈

NFT Market Volume

Wednesday saw Opensea trade $108.98 million, with volume beginning to bleed downwards and falling out of the high range that the market had been trading in for the past 2 weeks.

Most established projects saw declining sales volume. Moonbirds traded a total of 1,622 ETH, its lowest day so far. Meanwhile, older projects such as Azuki have seen incredibly low activity, with only 19 sales yesterday totaling 479 ETH.

Two new projects which launched yesterday received most of the market's liquidity. Imaginary Ones which sold out yesterday after its Dutch Auction process received 2,892 sales totaling 4,123 ETH. Meanwhile, Ragnarok Meta, which also launched yesterday, traded 3,348 ETH. We expect that both projects will behave similar to other recent launches and will have turbulent periods leading up to their art reveal, followed by a retraction in floor price upon reveal.

NFT Floor Changes

The NFT market saw a mixture of movements, with many projects seeing small losses.

One project which had a particularly bad day was the NBAs recent project, The Association (0.05 ETH, -68.79%) This came after the project revealed its art to holders and many decided to sell, causing one of the largest post-reveal dumps that we have seen so far. The project had been struggling from the start, after a botched launch last week, with holders now wondering what the project can do to revive itself.

alien frens (1 ETH, +31.5%) saw nice floor gains after it was announced that they would be conducting an airdrop to holders, whilst this is a good short-term boost for the project's floor price. Some members of the community have questioned the plausibility of a project like alien frens (which has already struggled over the past month) launching a secondary project, which often only creates short-term momentum.

Other notable changes include:

  • Mutant Ape Yacht Club | 37.5 ETH, +2.47%

  • Bored Ape Yacht Club | 145 ETH, +3.72%

  • Meebits | 6.35 ETH, -12.89% (Price cooled down after yesterday's pump)

  • Kaiju Kingz | 1.03 ETH, -6.36%

  • Doodles | 15.5 ETH, -6.06%
