On Thursday, Opensea traded $14.61 million as most of the market saw small gains.

Pudgy Penguins (2.35 ETH, +25.56%) have seen a strong couple of days, up over 50% in the past week. The team announced on Twitter that they will be selling Pudgy Toys from the end of 2022 and created a form where holders can submit their own penguin to be featured in the toy collection.

Pudgy Penguins has always had a strong community, it's been nearly a year since the project witnessed its first boost in popularity and with Luca taking over the project earlier in the year, we have seen a lot of cool developments.

Other projects which saw strong gains over the past 24hrs include Cyber Brokers (2.38 ETH, +26.6%), VeeFriends (8.56 ETH, +7.07%) and CrypToadz (2.3 ETH, +9.52%).

⛵ OpenSea co-founder and CEO Devin Finzer revealed this afternoon that the NFT marketplace is laying off about 20 percent of its employees. Finzer did not indicate how many people that represented. A Forbes article in January celebrating Finzer and his co-founder Alex Atallah’s $2.2 billion net worth (each) said the company employed more than 70 people, but an OpenSea spokesperson tells The Verge that 230 people will remain with the company.
