On Saturday, we saw a continuation of Friday's carnage as Ethereum's price continued to decline, currently trading at $1450 after trading around $1800 for the past month.

With the chaos in the wider markets, we saw Opensea trading volume slip down to $18 million and Magic Eden trade $9 million.

Over the past 24 hours, both Bored Ape Yacht Club (87.99 ETH, -1.13%) and CryptoPunks (48.39 ETH, -0.02%) managed to not continue dumping too hard after losing value on Friday.

On the other hand, Otherdeed (2.15 ETH, -9.63%) saw larger losses, as did Doodles (10 ETH, -12.13%) and CLONE X (8.8 ETH, -12.87%).

As Solana broke support and dropped to $32, Solana NFTs also suffered yesterday.

Some of the top SOL nft movements we saw included:

• DeGods | -10.29%

• Okay Bears | -6.36%

• Ape | -17.43%

• Trippin' Ape Tribe | -7.54%

OG SOL project Degen Ape Academy did see gains, up 4.44%

At this point, it's hard to determine where we will bottom. With the wider equity markets still having room to move further downwards which would cause an even larger crypto crash.

We're personally not buying NFTs during this market retracement and will be waiting for the broader market to turn around before making any purchases.

🗺️ According to CoinTelegraph, The Republic of Palau announced on Friday that it will issue identification cards to its digital residents in the form of NFTs on Binance’s BNB Chain. Binance founder and CEO Changpeng Zhao was on hand in Palau for the unveiling of the NFTs and to meet with Palauan President Surangel S. Whipps, Jr.

📈 Per NFTPlazas, Solana Ventures has set up a $100 million fund to help develop the Web3 ecosystem of South Korea. According to the company, the funds will be leveraged across various avenues of tech, including NFTs, gaming, and DeFi.
