NFT Market Volume

Opensea traded $137.43 million on Saturday, a very similar number to yesterday and a good start to the month.

Azuki saw a slight cool down on volume from Friday, trading 6,387 ETH, still a very respectable figure. This high volume can be accredited to more big players beginning to poach Azuki's with rare traits, and an ever-increasing floor price which sends sales volume rocketing.

Kiwami Genesis had another strong day of sales, closing the day at 1,826 ETH. Many are drawing parallels between Kiwami and Azuki because they share a similar anime art style. This has led to some viewing Kiwami as a cheaper alternative now that Azuki Is unaffordable.

The Sevens, an older project which only sees very sporadic trading volume saw a spike yesterday, as they announced the news that holders would be eligible to receive an airdrop for a second, all-female collection. The project closed at 37.791 ETH and 162 sales, which is a huge jump on Friday when there were only 9 sales.

NFT Floor Changes

All 3 projects that we mentioned yesterday, once again saw big floor increases.

Azuki (31 ETH, +13.14%) once again continued to push upwards, looking unstoppable. We haven't seen a pump as strong as this since Bored Ape Yacht Club. Kiwami Genesis (1.35 ETH, +82.43%) also saw huge gains over the past 24 hours, this comes after the project was trading at lows of 0.3 ETH only 2 days ago after the project dumped post art reveal.

The third project which we spoke about yesterday which has continued to see a rise in floor price is Pudgy Penguins (2.6 ETH, +19.87%). This comes as official news on the project's $2.5 million acquisition was released, you can read more here.

Proof Collective (68.53 ETH, +24.83%) also saw nice gains. Proof Collective is a private community of 1000 NFT collectors and artists, who need to own the NFT to be granted access. The group has seen an incredible increase in valuation over the past 3 months as the owners, Kevin and Ryan continue to provide value to holders.

🐧 The NFT Collection, Pudgy Penguins, has been sold to Los Angeles-based entrepreneur Luca Netz. The ownership for the collection of 8,888 cute penguins was transferred after the close of a much anticipated sale of 750 ETH (~$2.5 million). The news comes as Pudgy Penguin volume spiked on NFT marketplace OpenSea as deal closing rumors began to emerge.

🦇 Warner Brother’s DC Comics is teaming up with Palm NFT Studio to launch an NFT collection based on the 83-year history of its' most recognisable Super Hero - Batman. The collection, which is dubbed the ‘Bat Cowl Collection,’ contains 200,000 unique NFTs, each featuring a distinct identity and set of traits that reflect the story of Batman and his iconic  bat-styled mask.

Scam Warnings

❌ Ongoing warning - Multiple high profile discords have been hacked - seemingly by the support ticket 'Ticketing Tool' being compromised and overriding admin permissions. Be careful when interacting with surprise links in legitimate discords! Thread by @NFTherder detailing the attack:

❌ Some users have been receiving phishing emails impersonating cold wallet company, Trezor, stating that their accounts have been compromised. These emails are scams.
