24hr Market Overview 📈

NFT Market Volume

After an intital strong start to the month, Tuesday saw Opensea trade $70.29 million, the lowest day so far this month and one of the lowest all year.

Azuki was one of the highest traded projects yesterday, after receiving a small surge in volume, closing the day with 53 sales totaling 1,431 ETH. This small surge is much welcomed by the community after a week of slow sales, with some days only having 12 sales.

Worldwide Webb Land saw a big spike in volume yesterday, with 221 sales totaling 572 ETH, up from only 13 sales the previous day. This spike in volume came as an announcement was made on Twitter which announced to holders that there would be further rewards given to those holding.

NFT Floor Changes

Many projects across the NFT space saw gains over the past 24 hours.Azuki's (28 ETH, +24.44%) small surge in sales led to the price recovering, after yesterday's sell-off which saw the project reach lows of 22.1 ETH. This strong support is an encouraging sign for holders who will be looking to see whether the project can break back above 30 ETH. Azuki will be collaborating with a Korean hip-hop group for their performance at Coachella later in the month, with many circulating rumors that the project will release some sort of announcement during the event. Azuki's derivative project, BEANZ (5.66 ETH, +13.2%) also benefited from Azukis's positive price action.

Worldwide Webb Land (1.7 ETH, +24.18%) also saw nice gains which originated from the project's announcement on Twitter regarding more utility to holders. The project's floor had been declining since its huge hype in February, so today's gains will be very welcomed by long-term holders.

CryptoPunks (58.88 ETH, -8.98%) didn't have such a great 24 hours. The project lost its 60 ETH floor support level and now sits at its lowest floor this year. Holders are hoping that the Yuga labs acquisition could breathe fresh air into the project which has struggled to keep up with Bored Ape Yacht Club over the past 9 months.

Without further ado, let's get into it:

How did you first get into NFTs?Previously I thought NFTs were scams and created many imaginary thoughts to confirm my beliefs. Then the first tweet ever sold for $2 million and Beeple sold for $69 million so I decided to remove my biases and take a deeper look. 

What was the first NFT you ever minted?My first NFT was a Yat (@whatsyouryat). After that I traded two Yats for a Bored Ape. Then I bought many NFTs to support underrated artists like @GirlWhoShivers and @dank_drawings.

What's your favorite ever NFT?My favorite NFT ever is probably my profile picture Bored Ape Yacht Club #2416 because it means so much and owning it allowed me many cool opportunities that I wouldn't have had otherwise.

Anything you’re keeping an eye on in NFTs at the moment?I am currently keeping a close eye on max pain and frens, whatever Yuga Labs does, and Solana NFTs like DeGods.

What’s one thing you can’t live without?I can’t live without laughing. Life is all about having fun. This is part of the reason I love the tweets of @notthreadguy, @nftsarenice, @cr0ssETH, @boredapewood, @zscuffed, @degentraland & @iLikeNFTs.

What advice would you give NFT Minter readers looking to make their first jump into the NFT Community?My advice would be to just have fun, buy things you like, and follow people like @punk6529, @CapetainTrippy, @ElectionDayMad1, @garyvee and @iamDCinvestor.

😡 Meta, which was previously known as Facebook, has announced their monetisation strategy for their Horizon Worlds Metaverse, not without causing controversy with one aspect of their plans. Meta is planning to take a 47.5% cut on each transaction on its' marketplace - specifically, 30% will go to Meta via the Oculus platform, and 25% of the remaining of the transaction will go to the Meta App Store. For comparison, OpenSea takes a 2.5% cut of each transaction, and creators typically take a defined percentage between 2.5% and 7.5%.

🤑 American business magazine Forbes has announced a partnership with Crypto exchange FTX to release its' inaugural Billionaires NFT Collection - consisting of 100 Billionaires, ranked by their virtual property portfolios and net worth.

❌ A possible new scam technique has been raised that appears to show a 'loading' image that allows a hacker to compromise your discord token. Do not interact with unsolicited links that you receive in your DMs!

❌ Ongoing Warning - If you are tagged in a seemingly high profile projects' 'founders' tweet like below, do not click the link. It is likely fake and in the event that a project like Azuki or Bored Ape Yacht Club does a stealth drop - the founders will not tag you en masse. These are scams, even if the account is verified.
