24hr Market Overview 📈

NFT Market Recap

Over the past 24 hours, we have seen a varied sentiment, with some projects continuing to dump whilst others have seen gains. Opensea closed with $40.26 million, a very small increase from the lows of the month but down from Thursday.

Bored Ape Yacht Club (89 ETH, -1.11%) and Mutant Ape Yacht Club (17 ETH, -5.19%) both saw small losses yesterday, whilst Otherdeed (2.85 ETH, +3.64%) managed to find some slight relief.

It has been interesting to watch NFT Worlds, a separate metaverse project not owned by Yuga Labs flip Otherdeeds floor price. NFT Worlds (3.2 ETH, +6.67%) now sits at a higher price than Otherdeed, and whilst it's a much smaller collection it is still a big feat.

Yesterday Cool Cats posted a thread with some further teasers about the projects future, which you can read below:

More interestingly, Cool Cats hosted a Twitter space yesterday where it was revealed that they raised VC investment. On the face of it, this sounds like huge news and we have already seen the floor price rise, currently sitting at 3.4 ETH which is a 13.33% rise.

Some positive news is great for the project which has struggled over the past few months. However, I did come across an interesting thread from @jameskwho which breaks down how previous VC funding has impacted projects, and most of the time the effect seems negligible.

Other notable floor movements yesterday included

  • Karafuru | 1.12 ETH, +36.81% (A good bounce after dumping hard yesterday)

  • Ragnarok Meta | 0.8 ETH, +14.86%

  • Murakami Flowers Seed | 4 ETH, -6.98%

  • goblintown.wtf | 1.96 ETH, +7.7%

Once again it has been quiet for the ETH space. I have been keeping an eye on Magic Eden, the biggest marketplace for Solana NFTs. There has been a steady increase of new users over the past few weeks which is encouraging.

After the Trippin' Ape launch earlier this week which was a huge liquidity event, we have seen volume start to decline. We will keep our eye out for any major developments in the SOL space and start including them here if ETH remains quiet.
