This morning we have seen further turmoil in the markets, with BTC down -9% sitting just above $20k and ETH down nearly -15% trading at $1k. Late last night the co-founder of 3AC, a huge crypto fund confirmed the rumors with a tweet.

This sent the markets into further chaos. If you'd like a better understanding of the situation I'd recommend you check out the following thread which surmises why the current developments are so bad.

So far this morning, most projects haven't dumped as hard as they did on previous down days, with many still positive over the past 24 hrs.

Interestingly, yesterday the goblintown team decided to reveal their identity, the team behind the project is Truth Labs, which runs two other projects; Illuminati Collective and the187.

Since the news broke, Illuminati Collective pumped 213% up to 0.67 ETH.

The US FED meeting is to be held today, where a decision will be made on whether to increase interest rates once again, if this happens the stock market could be in for further turmoil.

There is a slight hope that interest rates are only increased by 50 basis points, if this were to happen we could potentially see some short-term relief in the markets. However, with inflation being so bad, we're more likely to see a 75-point increase.
